The opening chapters of "Crossed Stars in Varren" are set in the Scottish Countryside, in a place very similar to where I live with my family. I was born in Edinburgh and raised in Fife by Welsh parents.
"Crossed Stars" is my first novel and there are two more Varren books started or in my head.
I have dedicated "Crossed Stars" to the Sick Children's Hospital
in Edinburgh as I spent a lot of my childhood in their care.

Crossed Stars in Varren - described!

Their resolve and their kinship are tested to the limit in a fight for survival, not only for them, but for this sector of the galaxy. They are helped by wonderful reptilian creatures from the exotic desert world of Hazer and they develop an everlasting friendship with them.
